Jama and the Search for Courage is the story of a 9-year-old boy, who is tasked by his father to find a special gourd. Jama sets off on a brave adventure through his African village and beyond. As we follow Jama through his quest, we learn about the meaning of courage and inner strength.

The book showcases bravery, parental bonding and African landscape with themes of exploration, hunting and courage.

This is Sanyu's first self-published children's book and was released in February 2025. It's the first installation of a series of African children's books to come.
